I dreamed of you last night,
You had come back home enveloped in fog.
I saw your face
Within the shadows
Your voice cut through the silence
I want to stay by your side
Once more
I’ll be with you forever
Not as a ghoul
Inhabiting the darkness
Of your inner mind
Keeping you awake for most of the time
But as a real person
Made of flesh and blood
And not of dreams
MIDNIGHT HOUR
I think of the streets
In the darkest hour
Full of straggly figures
Silent and fearful
In the darkness of the furtive
Despair of my heart
They move unhindered
Along the realm of ghosts
And creatures of the night
As the lights of a car
Illuminate my inner land
In a world of distrust
You and I cower
Beneath the shadows
Of our midnight hour
